Individual therapy in Ho Chi Minh City
What is individual therapy?
In individual therapy, we meet one-on-one to explore what has
brought you here — and what keeps you where you are. Sessions
are not about advice or quick fixes. They are about creating the
conditions for you to understand yourself more deeply: the
patterns you carry, the ways you relate to others, and what gets
in the way of living as you want to.
I work with adults across a wide range of presentations,
including anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation;
burnout and chronic stress; relationship difficulties and
attachment patterns; identity and self-esteem; trauma and
complex PTSD; personality-related difficulties; and life
transitions.
Sessions are 50 minutes, available in person in Ho Chi Minh City or online.

What is it like to go to individual therapy?
We usually begin by establishing a shared understanding of what
you hope to get from therapy — your wishes, your goals, and
what has been getting in the way. From there, we look together
at specific situations where the difficulties become most
intense. This allows us to start mapping the inner dynamics
that underlie the problem, and to find a way forward.
This process of making things conscious and sorting through them
tends to bring a measure of clarity and understanding that is
itself helpful. It also gives us an outline of what needs to
happen and how we might structure the work — so that you can
move past the symptoms and toward whatever positive goals you
have for your life.
Throughout, we aim to tailor the way we work to something that
feels meaningful and genuinely useful to you. My clinical
assessment will form a clear starting point, and we evaluate
together along the way, adjusting as needed.
